!NOTES: He was married five times and had three children by his second wife, three children by his forth wife, and seven children by his fifth wife. These are documented in the family group charts of Mrs. Fay Duckworth. Some of these charts reached me (Clark Johnson) via Mr. Woodrwow Duckworth of Lubbock. Apparently he was never officially divorced from his fourth wife before marrying his fifth wife, and she was never able to collect any of his social security benefits. (2/96)

!NOTES: He was in military service, Marines (or Navy) in the late 1940's or early 50's. He apparently had adjustment problems and fell in with bad companions. In any event he had scrapes with law enforcement, including running road blocks, etc. He was apparently sentenced to the federal prison in Leavenworth, Kansas.
