!NOTES: Bob worked for the Railroads. Records from the Railroad Retirement Board provide the following information about Bob: His Social Security number was 703-16-9620. In January 1940 he was living in North Pleasanton, Atascosa County in Texas. His mother was Alma Elizabeth Garrett and his father was James Wallace Killough. In September, 1924 he worked for the International Great Northern Railroad as a "trainmaster." From March 1925 to at least January 19, 1942 (date on the document) he was the "telegrapher" for the San Antonio, Uvalde, and Gulf Railroad. (Document dated November 28, 1938). Other data in this file includes pay records for 1924 to 1931.

!NOTES: His last employer was the Missouri Pacific Railroad and he retired on February 5, 1968. Additional records in this file provide information on his 2nd wife, Martha A. Killough. His first wife, Glenna Smith died on September 15, 1959 when Glenna died from cancer.
