"Georgia Intestate Records" where James Hicks was issued Letters of Administration for the estate of James Mason in 1829, and where George Mason was issued Letters of Guardianship for five orphans of James Mason, decd. (Madison, Miles, Morris R., Pellina, and Sarah Ann).

From the Johnson Co. Ga Genweb Page: Margaret Pullen, b. 1784, married James Mason. She was the daughter of Thomas Pullen, b. Nov. 21, 1752 VA, d. Feb. 6, 1828 Laurens Co. GA. Her sister Mary Pullen married Maj. James Hicks. However, this does not make sense, because Margaret Pullen married William Lowe Mason.
