Source: Letter dated Aug. 25, 1931, from Cordelia White Hollan to Lelia White Herring (original in possession of Dorothy McKethan Mason, Brooksville, FL), except that she does not list Joseph White as one of the children. The source for Joseph is a letter from Helen White Jordan to Mamie White Mason, dated May 2, 1927, in which she told of the recollections of her father, William D. White (Uncle B). The original of this letter is also in the possession of Dorothy McKethan Mason.
