NC Deed Book 45:216) dated Mar. 2, 1843, which named heirs Janet Phillips, John McKethan, Christian McLeran, James McKethan, Mary Walker wife of Alexander, Angus Culbreath, Grisella Culbreath, Neill Kyle, John Kyle, children of Robert Kyle. The settlement mentions 200 acres patented by John McKethan Dec. 22, 1768. A lot is given to Alexander Walker & Mary his wife. 1/4 part of 300 acres granted to James McKethan by letters patent Mar. 4, 1775. Signed C. Montague, Joel Williams, John C. Williams.
