!NOTES: Obit in Waxahachie paper and Nita Fallis: "Fred Fallis, 76, 205 Harbin St. died Saturday morning at Veterans Administration Hospital in Dallas after a long illness. Furneral arrangements are incomplete. Mr. Fallis had lived in Waxahachie 47 year. After retiredment as a salesman for Mound City Paint Company, he had operated a paint brush brokerage. He was a native of Rusk and was a veteran of World War I. Mr Fallis was a member of the First Methodist Curch where he was active in the Fellowship Class. Survivors include his widow, the former Opal Weaver of Waxahachie whom he married in Cleburne in 1920; a son, Roy Fred Fallis Jr. of Vienna, VA; three brothers, Stewart Fallis of Brownwood, Claud Fallis of Victoria, and O. C. Fallis of Dallas; half brother, Thad Thompson of Tyler; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Parks of Waxahachie and Mrs. Walter Robbins of Huntsville; a half sister; Mrs. Hildred F. Brooks of Fort Worth, and two grandchildren."
