Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Day-Loveless Funeral Home Chapel in Eden with burial in Eden Cemetery. He was born in Pontotoc April 25, 1891. He was married to Ruby McGuffin March 6, 1926 in Brownwood. He was a florist and a World War I veteran. He was a member of the Chruch of Christ. Survivors include his wife of Menard; a son Bob Duckworth of Anecortes, Washington; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Dorothy Braly of Corpus Christi; four sisters, Mrs. Alva Largent of Oklahoma City, OK, Mrs. Lois Clements of Crawly, LA. Mrs Thelma Wren of Fort Worth, and Mrs Mable Baygent of Alpine; two brothers, Jim Duckworth of Houston and Joe Duckworth of Eden; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren."
