!NOTES: All of her step-children seemed very fond of her. She was outgoing and active all of her life. In her last years she had vascular complications of diabetes (legs). She and her family lived in Wilson, Texas for many years, and she worked for the State Health Department. During the last years of her life she lived in a nursing home in Lubbock, and later in Odessa, where she died.
