!NOTES: History of Rockwall County by O. L. Steger Sr. dated 1969, "I do not remember Mr. Clark's first wife, she did not live long after getting here. I remember his two sons by his first wife, only one of whom is now living. His name is Abraham S. Clark and he resides in Navarro county, Texas."

!NOTES: Texas death certificate says he died on February 16, 1922 and tombstone has the date of February 17, 1922. He died of Pneumonia. Certificate lists the father as "Frank P. Clark of MO" and the mother as "Smith ?". A "W. L. Clark of Corsicana" provided information for this death certificate.
