!NOTES: Obit in Fort Worth, TX Star Telegram on Feb 11, 1986: "Jay C. Yoakum, 77, a retiree of the El Paso Natural Gas Company, died Monday in a Burleson nursing home. Graveside services will be at 2 P.M. Wednesday at Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells. Yoakum worked for the gas company 33 years and was plant superintendent about 30 years. He retired about 12 years ago. For the past year, he had lived in Crowley. He also lived seven years in Mineral Wells. He was a member of the North Side Church of Christ in Mineral Wells. Survivors include his wife, Hallie Jo Yoakum of Crowley, a daughter, Sondra Dickson of Crowley, three brothers, Willie I. Yoakum of Edmond, OK, Max L. Yoakum of New York, and Ralph Yoakum of Houston; a sister, Blanche Owens of Arlington, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren."
