!NOTE: Record News, December 5, 1939: "63 Aniversary: Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Duckworth of Loving, who celebrated they 63rd wedding anniversary last Sunday. Duckworth a general merchandise store operator at Loving for 10 years is a native Texan. Mrs. Duckworth was born in Tennessee. They were married in Fannin County." (From a newpaper clipping. !NOTE: Olney, Texas. Dec. 5: "Mr. and Mr. J. A. Duckworth, pioneers of West Texas, observed their 63rd wedding annivarsary at their home in Loving Nov. 26 with a dinner at which of their 9 living children and families were present. There were 30 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. A son, W. Duckworth is an Olney merchant. Duckworth was born in the Kentucky Town community of Fannin county, Texas where he engaged in farming and stock raising in several localities. He moved to Loving in 1914 and operated a general merchandise store for 10 years. Mrs. Duckworth was born Nancy Arizona Tidwell in Burns, Dickerson county, TN, Jan 31, 1860. She moved to Sherman, Texas at the age of 13. The couple were married Nov 26, 1876 at Savoy, Fannin county." (From a newspaper clipping with no indication of what news paper.)
