"Troupe County and Her People", Volume 8, shows Jourdan Milam in Lebanon Baptist Church, 24 Oct 1843 and it shows Elizabeth Milam in same church 24 May 1843.
Date of birth of children is based on 1850 Bibb Co. Al census, page 125. is this correct?
1855 Tallapoosa state census lists a Jordan Milam in Tpsa. He died in 1855 and is buried in Chambers County, AL.
Will describes real estate as follows: NENW of Section 20, Range 20, Twp. 24. and another 40 acres due south of the above. [this is 80 Acres total and the south 40 would be SENW 20-20-24. I believe ththe description of Jordan's land is in error - it should be as above but in range 24 instead of range 20. That would make it adjoining the west side of his brother, Benjamin's 160 acrs. Present day maps show Milam Creek on this land. [See Benjamin notes.]
