NOTES: Cleburne Times Review, Nov 9, 1943: " Miss Mary Almeta Dalton, 76, early pionerr resident of Cleburne died Monday afternoon at 6:50 o'clock at her home 100 South Buffalo street, following an illness of several months. She was born in Ballard county, KY, on Feb 28, 1867, and came to Cleburne at the age of nine. She had resided in Cleburne for the past 67 years. She was the daughter of Joe W. Dalton and Mary Bailey Dalton. Miss Dalton was a member of the Main-Street Methodist church having joined the church when a young girl. For many years she served as librarian at the Cleburne High School. She is survived by one sister, Miss Anna Dalton."
