Notes

!DEATH: Logan Co Cemetery book states that Hezekiah is supposedly burried in the Smith-Mason cemetery but there is no tombstone. His will was written on November 9 1867 and probated on August 24, 1870.

!NOTES: Will Book K Page 308-309 November 9, 1867: "I Hezekiah B. Mason of the County of Logan, State of Kenrucky being of sound mind do hereby make and publish this my last will and testament. ... I bequeath all my property both real and personal to my beloved son and only child Leslie Mason... 2nd I will and desire further that in the event of the death of my said son Leslie Mason without heirs, (and he lists other potential heirs for the property to pass to if this occurs.) ... My reasons for authorizing my Executor as stated in this document is that I wish the said Mill and Mill tract to be heredetarily possessed by my heirs and their heirs after them as specified in the foregoing articles." Heirs of the Mason this family still own this land in 1996.
