!NOTE: Obit in Gainesville Daily Register, March 16, 1956: "The Rev. C. M Thomsa officiated at service for John H. Orsburn, 80, at 2 o'clock this afternoon at Tabernacle Baptist Church. Interment was in Oak Grove cemetery with Vernie Keel Funeral home directing. Bearers were Paul and Garland Orsburn, Manfried Poffer, Bill Sinclair, A. T. Gregory, and W. E. Moore. Orsburn died Sunday in Corsicana in the home of Mrs. Haskell Rains. He was a longtime Cooke county resident and a retired farmer. Surviving are his wife, four sons, C. T. Orsburn of Gainesville, Raymond and Grady Orsburn of Bell Garden Calif., and Ralph Orsburn of Amarillo; three daughters, Mrs Eula Carroll of Bell Garden, Mrs. Hazel Pitcock of Corsicana and Mrs. Rains; a half brother, Frank Stilwell of Oklahoma City; a half-sister, Mrs Arch Heilman of Oklahoma, 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren."
