!DEATH: Obit in Sherman Democrat 3/28/1974 page 12: "Services will be held at 2 PM Friday at the Waldo Funeral Chapel for Orick L. Duckworth, 82, retired farmer of 919 S. Walnut. He died Wednesday at a Sherman hospital. Service will be conducted by Rev Terry Atwood of Key Memorial United Methodist Church with burial in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Duckworth was born in Fannin county. He had been a farmer most of his life in the Trenton area, moving to Sherman at retirement in 1962. He was a member of the Trenton School Board for a number of years and a member of the Key Memorial Methodist Church. Survivors are son, Olan Duckworth of Richland Washington; daughters, Mrs Walter Bader of Sherman and Mrs. Evelyn DeBerry of Bosie, Idaho; sister, Mrs. S. B. Dockery of Leonard and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren."
