!DEATH: Obit from paper in Eden, Texas probably January 2, 1963: "Funeral services for Clive Duckworth, 61, a service station owner and resident here since 1909, were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Day-Loveless Funeral Chapel with A. C. Knight, assisted by Lonnie Branam, Church of Christ ministers, officiating. Burial was in Eden Cemetery. Mr. Duckworth died at 9 p.m. Monday in Concho County Hospital following a long illness. He was a member of the Church of Christ and a Woodman. Mr. Duckworth was born January 15, 1901 in Pontotoc. He and the former Dora Bell were married June 17, 1925 in Eden. He operated a service station here until about three months ago, and he and Mrs. Duckworth also operated The Flower Shop. Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Paul Click of Fort Worth; three brothers, Elbert Duckworth of Menard, Jim Duckworth of Houston and Joe Duckworth of Big Lake and four sisters, Mrs. T. B. Baygent of Alpine, Mrs. Alex Largent of Oklahoma City, OK, Mrs Lois Clement of Crowley, LA, and Mrs Frank Wren of Fort Worth. The many friends of Mr. Duckworth also join the family in their hour of sorrow at the passing of one of our longtime residents, businessman, and friend."

!NOTES: 1900 Census states they had been married for 34 years and had 8 children all of which were alive in 1900. First child born in Texas was in about 1878.
