!NOTES: Obit in Dallas Morning News, 30 March 1950, part 3, page 6: "HOLT: Mrs Sarah Jane, age 65, passed away local hospital Wednesday; residence, 7107 Lovett. Survived by son, Harold D. Holt; two daughters. Velma Holt, Mrs. Edna Mae Hicks; two brothers, R. F. Duckworth, John W. Duckworth, Ede, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. J. W. Doggett, Mrs. H. A. Daniel, Amarillo; Three grandchildren. Services 10 AM Friday, Oneal Funeral Chapel. Rev John W. Pigg officiating. Interment Grove Hill Cemetery."

!NOTES: Obit (paper and date unknown) "Mrs. Robert E. Holt, 65, widow of a Dallas railroad man, died Wednesday in a Dallas hospital. She lived at 7107 Lovett. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Oneal Funeral Chapel, 3206 Oak Lawn. Burial will be in Grove Hill Memorial Park. A native of Revenna, Fannin County, Mrs. Holt and her husband lived in Denison about ten years before they moved to Dallas thirty years ago. Holt died five years ago. Mrs. Holt was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by two daughters, Miss Velma Holt and Mrs. Edna Mae Hicks, both of Dallas, a son, Harold D. Holt of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs Alice Daniel of Amarillo and Mrs Lela Doggett of Dallas; two brothers, Frank Duckworth of Dallas and John Duckworth of Brady, McCulloch County, and three grandchildren."
