!DEATH: Tombstone in Carson Cemetery in Fannin county, TX and Duckworth family records. Tombstone reads: "In my Fathers house there are many mansions."

!NOTES: He remained in Illinois until 1846 when the family moved to Fannin County, Texas. He apparently acquired about 600 acres of land, beginning in 1855. This is the area north of Savoy which at one time was known as "Duckworth Flat." It is just north of Carson Cemetery, and not far from Fairview Cemetery.

!NOTES: He was a member of the Christian Church.
