William Harrison SMITH was born in May 15, 1809 in Logan county, KY and died on February 10, 1878 in Freestone county, TX. He married Mary TOWNSEND the daughter of Light TOWNSEND and Mary ARNOLD. She was born on February 28, 1818 in Logan county, KY and died on March 31, 1896 in Freeston county, TX. They married on October 7 1825. Five children were born to this marriage. The direct line information follows:

Presley Edward SMITH was born December 28, 1837 in Logan county, Kentucky and died on May 4, 1917 in Port Arthur, Jefferson county, TX. Presley married Sarah Frances BOYDSTUN born on July 14, 1839 in Adams county, IL and died on March 9, 1873 in Rockwall, TX. She is buried, along with many members of her family, in the Boydstun Cemetery, Rockwall, TX. The couple had 3 children. After the death of Sarah, Presley married Sarah's sister, Elizabeth Louisa BOYDSTUN on March 9, 1873. Elizabeth was born on February 10, 1851 and died on March 9, 1933 in Jefferson county, TX. The couple had five children. The direct line follows:

Benjamin Edward SMITH was born June 3, 1881 in Clyde, Callahan county, TX and died on October 24, 1972 in San Angelo, Tom Green county, TX. He married Joanna MILAM in Uvalde, TX on December 4. 1904. Joanna MILAM was born on July 12, 1882 in Delta county, TX and died on September 27, 1972 in San Angelo, Tom Green county, TX. The family had two chidren and the direct line follows:

Presley Edward SMITH was born on January 3, 1910 in Uvalde, Uvalde county, TX and died on Ocober 5, 1993 in Plano, Collin county, TX. He married Venita Irene DUCKWORTH on July 10, 1940 in Abilene, Taylor county, TX. Irene was born on January 5, 1912 and died on January 13, 1998 in Plano, Collin county, TX. The family had one child.

Presley Edward SMITH Jr. was born on August 5, 1947 in Uvalde, Uvalde county, TX. He married Charlotte SHANNON and had one child Krista SMITH. They divorced, and Presley then married Patricia (Patty) HENSLEY.

Patty's son Patrick Douglass was born April 9, 1978.
He is now in college.
